Booking Terms & Conditions for Aviemore Stay & Explore, Dalnabay
Deposits
A deposit of £50.00 is required at the time of booking accommodation, with the balance payable in full no later than 6 weeks before the arrival date. Full payment is required for bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal is accepted, details are sent within the booking confirmation email.
Cancellation policy
We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances and events beyond your control may force you to change your plans.
Further, in the event of adverse weather or breakdown causing you to cancel your booking, we are in no way responsible for any losses so incurred the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, ie only the deposit has been paid, made more than 6 weeks prior to arrival; the deposit will be refunded.
Similarly, if a booking is cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival, ie after payment in full has been made, we will endeavour to re-let the holiday home and refund any monies paid minus the deposit. If the re-letting is done at a discounted price, this discount will be removed from any monies refunded.
If unsuccessful in re-letting, the guest will not be due any refund. Cancellation to be in writing or by e-mail. IT MUST BE RECEIPTED BY US before being effective.
Foreign visitors will probably have travel insurance, domestic visitors are strongly recommended to take out a travel insurance.
Departure and Arrival times
Departure is by 10a.m. and arrival from 4pm. Circumstances may allow these times to be amended by prior agreement where possible to accommodate guests individual travel arrangements. We always try to be flexible.
Vehicles and Personal Property
Vehicles, accessories and contents are parked or left at Dalnabay at their owner’s risk
No Electric Vehicle Charging is permitted at present. Please do not charge vehicles as our insurance does not permit EV charging.
The proprietors will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to persons not caused through the fault of the proprietor.
Unacceptable behaviour
We reserve the right to remove or restrict from entering the property any person or persons due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. No refunds will be given in this instance.
Strictly No smoking in the holiday home please, this will be treated as unreasonable behaviour.
Dog Policy
We are a dog friendly location however, we ask that you please clean up after your dog straight away. A maximum of 2 dogs. In addition, dogs should not be left unsupervised in the accommodation unless you use a secure crate. We ask that you bring old towels to dry your dog off after walks and his / her bed. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or bedding. Please do not put your dog in the bath.
We ask that any damages caused by your dog and likewise any other damage or staining are reported straight away so that we can rectify the problem before the next guest check in. We expect owners to cover all costs associated with damage to the property, which has been caused by their dog or guests.
